Before getting a hair system, almost every client asks the same practical questions: Can I swim? What about the gym? How do I wash it? Since our whole team wears systems every day, here's the unfiltered reality of the daily routine.
Mornings
Honestly? Easier than before hair loss for most of us. Your system holds its style well, so a typical morning is a quick wet-down or a touch of product and a 60-second style. The cut is designed for your hair type and lifestyle, so it falls into place naturally.
The gym, sport and swimming
Professional bonding is secure through sweat, swimming and sport. Plenty of our clients are landscapers, carpenters and gym regulars. Salt water and chlorine are fine - rinse afterwards like you would with natural hair. If you're a daily swimmer we'll recommend a base and adhesive combination suited to heavy water exposure.
Washing and care
Wash 2–3 times a week with a gentle sulfate-free shampoo, condition the lengths, and pat dry. The main adjustments from natural-hair care: be gentle at the hairline, and use conditioner a little more deliberately since the hair isn't fed by your scalp's natural oils.
Maintenance visits
Every 3–5 weeks you'll visit the studio for about an hour: we remove the system, clean your scalp, trim your growing hair, re-bond and re-style. Think of it as replacing your old barber appointment - except you leave with a perfect result every time.
The mental shift
The biggest change isn't the routine - it's that within a few weeks you stop thinking about your hair entirely. No more checking the bald spot in photos, no more caps, no more careful lighting. That freedom is what our clients consistently say they wish they'd found sooner.
